FALL in love





I am super happy with my instant pot. I have been eyeing it for a long time but the price is just too much for me and one day, just randomly browsing. I found on Amazon that the Instant Pot DUO80 8qt 7 in 1 is 36 percent off the original price and I immediately put it on my cart. I unfortunately, didn't buy it and the next day it was not on sale anymore. I was super ticked off (ha! ha!) with myself and shared my frustration with my hubby. After a week or two, I found that they had it on sale again and this time I didn't let it go. I purchased my Instant Pot 8qt for just $89.99 and to sweetened the deal my hubby approved of it. Cha-ching!

 If you want to own a instant pot this is the best time to buy them or buy it as a gift. Get it while they are on sale.



 I made my first porridge in my instant pot. It was delicious! I'll share my recipe too. 


LUGAW
using instant pot

2 cups of Jasmine Rice
2-3 tablespoons Coconut Oil
5 cloves of Garlic
1 small onion
1 ginger
4 pcs of Breast Chicken
3 cups of Chicken Stock
1 cup of water

3-4 Hard Boiled Eggs (optional)

Seasoning
Salt & Pepper
Fish Sauce (optional)

Garnish
Fried Garlic
Green Onions

Directions:

Turn on instant pot and select sautee. I put my sliced garlic and cooked it until brown and set aside. I added onions and ginger then  I put my breast chicken, rice and salt and pepper. Mixed it for one minute then turn off sautee. I then put chicken stock and water then this time you'll select porridge. You'll just wait. make sure to follow your instant pot instructions properly.

I took out the chicken and shred them. 

Then serve. Make sure you include your hard boiled eggs and your garnish - fried garlic and green onions.
